I know what I'm about. Got this from PigeonFX earlier in the year.
No pics but I have an LAL Sooper Fuzz 46 too that a great twist on the circuit with a pot instead of a tone switch. I love the artwork on the LAL!

I mean, the regular sized Zvex already have enough knobs for me, I don't need a more tweakable version. The only oversized ones I have are a Fuzz Probe and a Volume Probe and yeah, the theremin should have been integrated into guitar effects much earlier and more frequently. The Fuzz Probe in particular makes good use of the theremin aspect and I hear the Wah Probe does too.Russell1982 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 2:42 pmWhat are your thoughts on the bigger zvex pedals? Super seekers and the woolly mammoth 7 and fuzz factory 7?
I used to have a wah probe years ago but was never a big wah user really and ended up selling it, regrettably. It was cool though, and they seem to come up fairly frequently and for decent prices too. You should pick one up.hulakatt wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 6:29 pmI mean, the regular sized Zvex already have enough knobs for me, I don't need a more tweakable version. The Wah Probe seems to be the most expensive of the 3 when it comes up for sale. I'm kinda disappointed in the Volume Probe and will likely sell it soon.Russell1982 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 12:22 pmI used to have a wah probe years ago but was never a big wah user really and ended up selling it, regrettably. Ah weird, I feel like the wah probe is never that much, then again I haven’t seen them for a while I guess. Yeah I was always a little uninterested in the volume probe, it never seemed like it would be much use. I suppose as a “manual tremolo” type of thing but I don’t think I’d get much use from it.hulakatt wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 12:27 pmThe Wah Probe seems to be the most expensive of the 3 when it comes up for sale. I am and I've owned and still own more than a few SuperFuzz circuits. It's probably the least aggressive and most musical of the ones I've played so far and it's extremely well built.Russell1982 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 1:00 pmAlso, on your recommendation I’ve stumbled onto a pigeonFx super fuzz. How are they? You seem pretty impressed with yours.
Nice. I checked out their website, a British company but looks like they’re not really active much/at all now. I did see one for sale on reverb though, will add it to the list of stuff to try. I feel a gear splurge coming on soon.hulakatt wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 1:28 pmI am and I've owned and still own more than a few SuperFuzz circuits. They go through fits and spurts. I grabbed the SuperFuzz last time I saw one posted on their webstore because they hadn't had them posted in a while. I'd love to grab a Companion Fuzz from them too and I have one of their Hornby Skewes Treble Boosters on it's way to me.Russell1982 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 1:47 pmNice.
