pedal builder posting rules?
I'm curious what the rules are regarding showing off / introducing new pedals? I build fuzzes in short runs (6-8 pedals) which is commercial to an extent, so is it ok to post about them here or does that belong in the for sale section?
Thanks, Mel

Should go in the for sale area.
7. While we are sure you are proud of your product, employer, event etc... retail advertising is expressly prohibited. If you or the company you work for have products for sale, post them in the For Sale/Trade forum.

I would think that if you're just showing something cool you did, it could be in the DIY thread, but if you're actually selling it, then it needs to go in the For Sale sub-category.

Yeah, it's been done this way for a long time. There's other people that do the same thing and it seems to work well.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 10:27 amI would think that if you're just showing something cool you did, it could be in the DIY thread, but if you're actually selling it, then it needs to go in the For Sale sub-category.
I bought my first (of many) Fredric FX boxes from a member (Timhulio) who did exactly this. As long as it's all kept in its separate areas then I dont see the mods having any issue.
