ummmmmmmm

the DMM has been my main delay for years, a board staple. i've used the XO version for years... and I still want this. lol. sounds great, and I love the 9v operation and removing the "chorus/vibrato" switch and just going to a depth/rate makes a ton of sense. very intrigued.

I got an El Capistan, an Echo Dream 2, a Space Spiral, a DM-2w, and an old big box classic DMM from the 90s and I'm like 99% sure I have to have this anyway. EHX, shut up and take my money. :w00t:

Oh, I'm probably on board, too. The first repeat sounds different than on the vintage ones (I've played), which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Funny that they didn't do a new nano vs. big box.
No foot control fun with the tiny knobs though.

Interesting to see pointy headstocks / Floyd rose / locking nuts creeping back.

Who had 1:48-1:51 slot in the U2 pool?

Oh wow that sounds very close-I still have the big box I bought new in the Aughts, so much of the magic of it comes down to subtleties you can't quite feel/hear over youtube...adding trails is incredibly awesome, have always wanted that on the big box memory man-going to be very interesting to compare the 2. Also psyched to have a small analog delay pedal that has vibrato on the repeats, don't know how pedal companies don't add vibrato to their analog delays, to me that is a big part of the DMM sound, very excited to see this retains that capability...

Interesting but a delay without a tap tempo is just a slapbacker to me.

unpopular opinion but i still think the best MM clone is the behringer vintage time machine. i like the darker repeats.

Among a myriad of other useful things! I keep trying to replace it with other delay pedals (DD500 is the latest... early indications are that it's way too complicated) but I just can't seem to quit it.

Seconded. And that's about all I used to use delay for until I acquired a DD7 in trade, "to see what all this tap fuss is about". It didn't take long... tap has become essential to how I work with delay(s). My board currently has a DD7, DD8 and Malekko 616D (LOVE that delay!), so I'm pretty well set...

but even at that... I am curious to hear this new DMM.
