I assume the best one you can buy is actually a box with a coil of cable in it.

Or ...just an eq pedal. Well if someone wanted to make nice sounding low pass filter in an equipped 4-band eq that would be sensible too.

I am sure when Hendrix looked on instagram and found his ideal simulations of various components of his rig what was his music was all about :fp: so once you can play like Hendrix it is obviously the last component to get as well as some 60s weed strains that hit different too

True bypass surely?

This is probably the funniest thing I'll read all day!

what next? a pedal that simulates me getting caught up in my guitar lead and shouting "oh for fuck sake, not again"

That'll be $299 for the no-name sampler with one non-replaceable sample in a box with pretty pictures.

$50 extra for any form of bypass though, the buffer is a huge part of the sound.

I started the demo video and 100% this is an April fools joke product. Maybe they made and sold a few as part of the joke but it's not serious. It's a tone pot and some lights.

Ah, that makes sense. Should have watched the video, regardless, they got me! I was all livid about nothing on social media, an old man ranting.

Good one!

That was my thought too. I mean this exists after all.

Why anybody would pay actual money for such a joke is beyond me.

On the other hand, I fully plan on buying some Sneppy merch at some point because toeing the line on trademark infringement on a beloved cartoon character is hilarious. Plus this is a mug I can put coffee in. I like coffee.

I love making random noise and sound effects with music equipment, and even I wouldn't use that. Definitely seen it all now.

I guess we found the pedal that finally unseats the Korg Miku as the least musically-useful pedal of all time.

Now now, don't do best pedal Miku dirty like that -- at least it tracks better than a GT-100

(stares daggers at the GT-100 sitting in the corner)

It was pretty good when I was in a dorm but I think in like 5 years of owning the thing I've only found like 2 usable tones out of it, and both sound like 80s hard rock -- and not the good kind.

Why post a video by those two doofuses when Joe Gore did a great demo of this pedal ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqYuQV2ogfQ
(this man could make a rubber band taped to a brick sound great, tho)

I'm curious how the Miku would sound stacked with reverb, fuzz and whatever experimental fx. Its..err..interesting tech just waiting for someone to transform vocaloid tech into something less specific, more useful.

Now here is a pedal with the innovative idea of replacing knobs with a vial of liquid you can refill for a mild change in tone: https://www.andertons.co.uk/guitar-dept ... rive-pedal i can imagine very handy if you want to change sound mid gig 🤔 just queue for the bar and bring a funnel with you

My bandmate had one that we used between songs. We put an RTG -> Miku -> Delay -> Amp. It was just a weird thing to make noises while we were tuning, etc...
