NUX & Blubox

I was wondering if anyone has any experience of the Nux Solis Studio or Bluguitar Blubox? They seem to be about half the price of an Iridium.

Sorry, haven’t even heard of those, but I don’t look around at things as much anymore as I used to.

I’ve had a bit of a gear acquisition fetish for quite a while, that I’m trying to curb lately. Restraint is hard.

Good luck, tho!

Just ordered a Nux Solis Studio to try out for recording and playing thru a mixer with a drummer. I’ll report back on my experience.

If anyone has an update on this re: Blubox, I'd be interested too. I just got a BluGuitar Amp1 Mercury and am thinking about getting into the cab sim game with it...

i've tried the blubox. it's OK but i think i might be the wrong audience for it.

No experience with this. I tried the iridium for a while. I find that not having an amp takes away some of the fun and excitement of playing electric guitar. With that said I just bought a cheap joyo amp sim for the rare occasion that I need to go ampless. Hope it doesn’t sound terrible.

I'm afraid that I took the hit and bought an Iridium in the end - really like it though!
