There's a red sparkle, Mandarin label Fuzz Factory selling for dirt on ebay right now if anyone's quick. I don't have the cash right now and I'm kinda pissy about it but I thought I'd share here.

The closest I've ever come to owning a Zvex pedal has been me building SHO clones. I'm amazed I've got this far without ever buying one. I've owned so much gear it's laughable I've not.

This thread is making me feel like I'm missing out.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

you used to be able to get some of the hand painted range fairly cheap. that's the only reason i ever had a 2-in-1 or an octane 3 (excellent superfuzz). i still have an SHO because it does sound better than the one i built and gave away.

The handpainted ones still pop up used pretty cheap quite often.

the price of all secondhand gear seems to have shot up in the last couple of years, can't remember the last time i saw a handpainted zvex for under £150. maybe they're just more ubiquitous in the US?

I think I paid $130 for an old handpainted SHO just last year but yeah, it is getting more scarce to find cheap. Most of it's still cheaper than the new stuff though.

Besides, the only stuff not selling for high prices is whatever I'm trying to sell apparently.
