Re: Setup of the day
...since I've been digging up old stashed away ones, i disinterred the joy of the XII
Then I noticed that it's all the same color - up to the HH amp's glowing front panel!
I might actually take the XII to rehearsal and try to play it all with it... would be a fun factor to be playing a twelver in a weird Electropunk kinda band like mine, i think.
...unless I get hand cramps before!

Re: Setup of the day
haha, I also have a second board, pretty similar setup-wise, but much tidier, I like this more actually. Despite the obvious chaos, it never failed me once. I just wish the M13 was better made (switches and all), I'm currently considering buying a third one (I own two and one always needs servicing) - I'm too attached to it and I like it far more than HX effects, which were supposed to replace it.

Re: Setup of the day
Got a couple of new Boss pedals (CE-2W and DD7) in the last week and futzed around with the board a bit. I decided I wanted all Boss on the upper row of the board, for some reason, and well, I did it. All the Boss pedals are running in stereo too, which honestly sounds incredible. The CE-2W is something special. It knocked a Julia off my board.

That looks like a lot of fun to play. A line of all-stereo Boss is something I want to try one day.Jonesie wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 4:08 pmGot a couple of new Boss pedals (CE-2W and DD7) in the last week and futzed around with the board a bit. Adjusting to The Living Room Years. Band practice setup for the foreseeable future, but hopefully still staying sharp enough to pick up gigs when we want to. IR cab sim helped tremendously, and I think upgrading the preamp pedal to a Horse American Sound will get even further.
The Supersonic Fuzz Gun wanted to come out to play. Who was I to say no?

Been enjoying this lately. Stooges / Sabbath / Punk / Garage etc...
Marrguar/Mustang/SG/Strat into the Univerb (Vibe/Chorus) out through effects send to the Multy Color Fuzz Tower by TSL Studio Equipment back into the return on the Univerb, through the reverb side, then out to the Fender Pro Jr IV.

Your description was clear, but my head's all foggy this morning, so I had to read it like 3 times to figure out your chain, then I considered it against the musical touchstones you listed and thought, "Oh my god, I bet that sounds FANTASTIC!"JONFROMJERSEY wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 9:52 amBeen enjoying this lately. Re: Setup of the day
The fact that the Univerb has an effects loop between the Vibe and the Verb is kind of genius considering where most players like to place the Vibe and the Verb in their chain. :-)

Annoying the neighbours this morning. Wanted to see how TS into Fuzz sounded. Ended up just loving the Tele with the Friedman gain. Such a one trick pony. It’s a v fun & great sounding one trick pony though.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Re: Setup of the day
I really need to figure out photos... until then:
guitars: Fender Duo Sonic/Gibson SG Classic/Danelectro 59DC ->
pedals: JHF1 silicon fuzz face -> red llama clone -> DBA Reverberation Machine -> Caroline Parabola -> ~1990 ProCo Rat II ->
amps: Traynor YBA2b (1x15 combo) -> daisy chained -> Vox AC4 (1x10 combo)
great for garage-y, brokedown, and/or lonesome

Re: Setup of the day
Realised I’ve almost got enough pedals to do a pretty useful mini board. If I accidentally get a cheap reverb, it might happen. Although not sure what I’d use a 2nd board for.
Still, more pedalboards is more, right?

Yeah, your general taste in guitars did make me think the amp & the board the far right didn’t look your style…Pacafeliz wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 2:06 amIt isn't mine, nor did I use it.. only the box sorryUnicorn Warrior wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 12:52 pmOh man..you don’t see a lot of Engl amps on this forum.
