Budget multi-fx headphone amp?
I’m stuck away from home for a while. Rather than get a traditional amp, was thinking are there are any good options for a budget multi-fx type thing with amp/cab sim & headphone out that I can just plug in & play in the house? Extra points for manual controls & minimal computer editing.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

£99 new, could be a bargain if you find a used one

The old Boss ME5 has a headphones out that is decent - no amp sims but the effects are all good to great.

perhaps too much computer fiddling required, but this seems pretty simple:

The Nux Mighty Plug for sure, the new version has a ton of features. The lack of knobs sucks for these things of course, you do get more with the Fender one but also have set effects blocks.

Little update. Came close to pulling the trigger on a pocket POD, and then I came across a video for a cheapo chinese thingy.
£30 & it sounds awesome. Plus it’s got switches & it’s got a rechargeable battery. It’s so little, I’m quite amazed at both the sim quality & the amount of stuff onboard

What, that looks cool as shit. I'd consider picking one up as a recording interface. The IR feature could be useful too.

Was going to recommend you look for an old Zoom H4, which doubles (or should that be multi-tasks?) as a field recorder and 4-track, as well as doing multi-fx, USB I/O, etc. but I guess you're sorted. Often available cheaply if anyone else is on the lookout for such a thing.
