hey, what opinion do you guys have about the peavey valveking (112 Combo 50 Watt) ?
I need a new amp, and the price of this one is just perfect, and it's a valve amp and everything.
I want an amp that has a good clean sound, i just use effect pedals for the rest.

I've been interested in them too, because of the variable wattage thing. Maven Peal has the patent on that technology and is pretty much my dream amp, but the Peavey looks to be a poor-man's version.

I played one of the 100 watt ones quite a bit in my bandmate's store. They are an amazing amp for the price! I think they are made in China, but they really seem to be built well, and they sound wonderful. It was like a poor man's Twin for half the price.
The only thing I wasn't that impressed with was the reverb. That's a Peavey thing, though. I don't like the reverb on Peavey amps in general. Probably because I'm spoiled with that lush Fender tube/spring reverb...
