Re: Blonde Fender Amps Thread....
nice thread. I love all blonde fenders, blackface and brownface. I have a blackface bandmaster from 64. I think that a blackface tremolux will be my next purchase, in blonde of course. can you point me out to where you got the pic of the tremolux which has the $1000 price on it. I had that site as a bookmark but lost it. thanks a bunch. ill post a pic of my bandmaster in here soon.

I like blonde Fenders a lot too. I like the transitional ones the most I think. My Bandmaster is a '64 with the nromal (not flat) logo.

I'm not entirely sure where I got it from...I think it was an FDP member's Guitar Show pics...it's a pretty old pic too...I think that show was 3-4 years ago....holy-reverb!! wrote: can you point me out to where you got the pic of the tremolux which has the $1000 price on it. Ah... The vaguaries of vintage Fenders never ceases to confuse me! So I assume the browns are pre-blackface? Are blondes special editions then?

Blondes and Browns are the same era, the Brownface. Brown tolex for combos, blonde for head and cabs.

That's like 1.21 gigawatts of Fender tone! Would you need a lightening rod to power that beast up?nealescott wrote: don't forget the tonemaster!!
