lol, yeah i felt pretty cool staying in on a fri and saturday night, playing with lego...warreng wrote: I wish i was as cool as you.
it's pretty solid, actually. i don't have a scale, but it's probably 2-3 lbs.warreng wrote: oh yeah... you should totally glue that together. It would suck if yer dog or significant other or an earthquake hit and we lost this treasure forever...
as for glue - after all the time putting it together, i don't really want to take it all apart.... just to glue it back together, lol!
my two dogs are afraid of it, as well, i think
and no significant other, but if i had one, she'd probably be gone after seeing me engross myself in lego for almost a week! any future women are going to be screened for compatibility with the lego princeton (small speaker, proper ohms, tube types, etc )

That's awesome dude! . I just noticed on the Fender website that your amp has a reverb pan. I somehow missed it.

Dave, you are officially the coolest. I think Fender should give you a real Princeton now!

That's exactly what I was gonna say! I kept reading the article and waiting for the partMaggieo wrote: Dave, you are officially the coolest. I think Fender should give you a real Princeton now!
where they said 'We decided to reward him with a REAL Princeton Reissue', but it never came.
Still, it's supercool!
Where you come from is gone. Where you thought you were going to weren't never there. And where you are ain't no good unless you can get away from it.

That is off the badass scale, Dave!
Should have had the Thinskin in the background, too.

lol. yeah, no word about getting a real one from them. i guess it's 50/50 - either they will or they won't. i'd shit a brick if UPS buzzes my apt next week, tho!bighonky wrote:That's exactly what I was gonna say! when the guy asked for my address, i thought afterwards, "hmm, if i was gonna get a t-shirt, they'd have asked my size... so i'll either get a letter opener or a lawsuit for copyright infringement..."
of course, i'm not the guy to ask what to expect, since i never expected it to go this far. i thought if i was lucky, some high ups at Fender might see some forwarded pics. I thought it was cool beans just when Jim Campilongo replied to my e-mail within a day! Now my mug's at the top of Fender News! lol
Thanks! yeah, i would've liked to do a big epic fender offset photo with random symbolic awesomeness and superb artistic composition... but as it turned out, i had to snap the pic of myself BY myself using the timer mode on my old digi-cam. THAT was a hassle, lol :-\.RumorsOFsurF wrote: That is off the badass scale, Dave!
