But, but, but, 100% mismatch! Also, isn't there a way to make a speaker 4 ohm by adding some resistors and bubble gum or something wiring-related?

Oh no! it's bubble gum! all this time I thought it was bubble wrap! No wonder my amps keep blowing upStevenO wrote:But, but, but, 100% mismatch! Also, isn't there a way to make a speaker 4 ohm by adding some resistors and bubble gum or something wiring-related?

That's just silly. Bubble wrap only works for wrapping your tubes to extend their lifespan while your amp is cranked. Idiot...jimboyogi wrote:Oh no! it's bubble gum! all this time I thought it was bubble wrap! No wonder my amps keep blowing upStevenO wrote:But, but, but, 100% mismatch! interesting that your blackline does not have drip edge trim. was it removed, or could it be from just before they started doing that trim...?
It's not the original head shell. I might put trim on it though hehe

OK, so Traynors are allowed...
Tryanor YBA-1 ('78? '79?) up top and a '72 YSR-1 underneath, both fine upstanding 'men of the (extended) Bass family.

what's the average price for a bassman 50? It's pretty diffcult to find one, especially one that ships it to me...

I just found this topic. Here is mine. '64 Bassman 6G6-B circuit, Weber speakers, and the little guy next to it is a '65 Reverb.
