hound of winter wrote: great gear maggieo! i like literally everything about the picture! how are you like the blade pickup on that tele? i'm trying to decide between the humbucker version of it and some bill lawrence pickups for my red guitar. some first-hand opinions would make it alot easier for me :)
Thanks!!

I really like the Lollar Charlie Christian pickup- it's got P-90 level output but is kind of woody and open with a big, but smooth, bottom-end.  Both pickups together are incredible. Like an electric dreadnaught- ringing and acoustic, but with some serious punch in the bass.

I just might be getting a summer condo there in Tiny Amp Town here pretty soon.  How's the weather and golfing this season?  8)

I'm hoping to get a weekender in tiny amp town when I finish building my Vox ac4 ish project. It's taking as much time as saving for a real house deposit anyway.

Thanks!  I love it, too!!

I know some folks really like the silverface look, but man, the blackface Fenders are sooooo crazy pretty I can't understand why they changed them.

Wouldn't the Atomic Space Tone fit in TAT? also what's the little blue pedal? :D
Where you come from is gone. Where you thought you were going to weren't never there. And where you are ain't no good unless you can get away from it.
