I sold all my gear, and now wanting to start anew
I sold all my music gear a couple years ago, but now I’m wanting to get back into playing. I have a guitar that I have been looking at, and an amplifier, and I’m wondering if any of you have any experience with the equipment.
The guitar I’m looking at is an Airline Guitars H44 DLX, and the amplifier I’m looking at is a Supro Delta King 10. What is your experience with the Supro? Based on online reviews it seems like a good little amplifier. I use to play guitar through a Fender Twin Reverb, but found it too much to lug around, and I’m not a touring musician, I just play for a fun hobby. And I live in a residential Condo, and the Fender Twin would sometimes cause noise complaints. Would the Supro be a good amplifier for my needs?
The styles I like to play are Rockabilly and Blues, so I need something that takes pedals well, like tape echo

I've been playing through a Supro Blues King 10 for some time and it's a really good little amp. No need to play loud for it to sound good (quite the contrary of my Hotrod deluxe ). It respects the sound of your guitar and does not feel boxy at all. I reckon it would be perfect for your program of rockabilly and blues.
Of course it's not made for some high gain stuff but the drive channel can sound real good if uou turn the gain(volume) down and turn the master up. Nice reverb and effective eq... well all in all, a perfect little home amp !

I tried one briefly. I think it would make a fine home amp. Seems like it might get rattly as the volume is pushed, but that’s an issue with almost all small combo amps.
I used to have a 79 Vibro Champ, and that was great at conversational volumes. I have a Swart STR Tremolo now, and that amp likes to be a little louder at home, but it holds together way better than the Vibro Champ when turned up. It’s a 5 watt amp I can gig with. It’s not clean at that kind of volume of course.

I like those little Supro amps
They sound really good if you want something that’s spongy, squishy, flattering
Maybe not ideal if you want a firm, high-headroom amp for tight rhythm playing (if you loved your Twin for this it’ll be a different animal)

If you sold all your gear you probably have a nice little bundle of cash. Find a mint vintage Princeton Reverb or a Deluxe Reverb. Both are the best there is concerning Amps. Keepers for life.
Just about any Guitar will sound great through either of those Amps. You’ll be able to play any kind of music & sound great!

I've been interested in Supros for a while. For other small-ish amps, I've been impressed with the Monoprice/Stage Right 15W tube amp and the Vox AC10. I've also heard good things about the VHT Special 6 Ultra. And of course the Princeton and Tone master Princeton.

New or used Quilter!
If you liked your Twin than the right Quilter can get very close with the right cab and speakers and you can turn it down to conversation levels without losing tone. I have a few Mini 101 heads and I got them all for under $250 each used. I use a Surfybear for reverb but many other models have decent digital reverb built right in! I picked up a SFTR a few months back but the Quilters are staying (some of them, at least) but they're primarily back-ups for the Twin now but I'd still happily gig them for sure. Look into the Tone Block 201. All that said I prefer my Peavey Special 130 over the Quilters and you can find those for $200-$300 if you're patient.

I neglected to mention my experience with Eastwood/Airline. I had an Airline Vanguard that looked, played, and sounded great. I'd buy another Eastwood if I found the right one.

I did something similar recently and couldn't recommend a Vibro Champ Reverb RI enough.
Perfect for home use.
