So technically I don’t have a bass just yet. But this is too pretty not to share. The previous owner gave me a demo with an mij precision & it sounds exactly how I want a bass to sound. Excited to learn a new instrument with a bit more skill than root notes for home demos.

New bass amp day - Ampeg Micro
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

I keep getting this close to buying one of these so many times. I don't play my bass nearly enough to warrant it though
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

I reasoned that the Fender or Orange would cost about £200. This was £400 & it’s perfect as a piece of furniture even if I don’t play it much.
Plus my brother is a bass player, so I can gift it to him if I really don’t use it.

Hell yeah. I have the same amp and I love it. I had this gigantic GK head/cab before it and it didn't sound nearly as good as the little Micro. It brings the thump with a P-Bass.

Amen. My old bass player had one of these and it always sounded great.
