Unfortunately, there's no reason to believe these would necessarily be less expensive than that, or as amazing for that matter.
But one can hope.

Well it's out now. Insane prices for the tube heads (+$3K) but $799 for the Beta Lead seems ok, street price will surely be even less.

Yeah, it seems like they’re only planning to appeal to a small niche market with those prices. I doubt these will be too common in the wild.

Beta Lead with a 1x12 could be ideal for my gigging needs - thinking of something solid state but versatile after playing a few gigs recently where I really wish my Twin wasn't half as heavy. I'm getting old I guess...

That would be the obvious choice, but I'd quite like a different flavour of amp also to mix things up a bit
