I did answer the poll based on the amp that I currently own, despite my pontificating about what my actual “amp of choice” would be. The reason I made the actual choice I did was 1) price 2) price 3) price 4) size - I live in an apartment 5) situation - not in a band or planning to be and 6) I happened to be in the mood for a British amp when I bought it.
What is the OSG amp family of choice?

Stereo setup-
Marshall Valvestate 8080 single-rack head driving a pair of 2x12 sealed-back cabinets.
Solid State half-stack? British? Modern? Kind of all three, but none of the above as well....
I marked all three.

I assume for modeling scenarios we would choose based on our preferred amp to model.
Still, there is no “direct” or “ampless” option. That’s my second choice behind the OSG-favored small American (Swart or Filmosound variant in my case).

I can't get away from the EF86 Channel of an AC10. It does it all.

Re: What is the OSG amp family of choice?
I just opened up my DSL5 on full power for the first time. I’d been playing it with the low power button in, thinking it was just a master volume type thing. And I barely used it as it wasn’t a Marshall sound to me.
Now sounds like a Marshall & I’m happy

VOX ACs and big bottle Fender combos are the top of the heap with my Jazzmasters. For my style, ears and taste.

Obviously not possible, but it would be nice if there was someway to find out how people use their amps, as much as what they're using.
I run a Matamp stack and a 50w Jet City 212 Bassmanalike combo in stereo.

I usually have mine with the power on and a guitar plugged in.

Re: What is the OSG amp family of choice?
Twin Reverb, loud and clean with my pedals doing most of the work.
I've been considering a Deluxe Reverb recently as it's rare I ever get to open the Twin up properly these days, but when I get it cranked at practice there's no better sound or feeling than moving all that air. I'd be worried the 1x12 of the Deluxe would feel lacking after all these years of the Twin.

I use mine for Practice, Rehearsal, Gigging & Recording… The size varies depending on how large the venues is.. Generally I prefer a smaller Amp.
Sometimes I’ll use 2 Amps, a Vox & a Fender, & play Stereo ADT thru a Keeley 30ms Double Tracker Stereo pedal.. Particularly for Recording..
