I wasn't looking for a new amp, but I found this online for $200 and couldn't resist. I picked it up Friday night and got to fool around with it Friday night and yesterday, I have to say that I'm impressed. I saw some reviews that weren't so hot, but I think this sounds great. Does the vox chime but can also go higher gain. The EQ is super versatile too. I'm honestly surprised with how good it sounds through my little 1x10 cheapie Peavey cab.

UPDATE! I got a new cab for this yesterday. A guy two towns away was selling an Egnater 1x12 open back cab for $150, and it's in nearly perfect condition. This amp definitely sounds WAY better with this cab. More sparkly and the bass isn't as woofy.
So far I highly recommend the Night Train heads.

Yup, it's a great little amp that I used to own. Nice cleans, nice drive, nice EQ, straight forward.
Never understood why it never got to cult status (it is in my book). Could it be the uncool boomer looks?
