Hey. I just picked up a Bantam Bass Amp for a good price but I’ve got to do something about the smell before I can use it at home. I read about a couple tricks to remove the cigarette smoke odor but I’m wondering if any of you OSGers have any first hand experience. I’ve heard of people using: vinegar-water solution, Maguiar’s convertible top cleaner, animal odor remover, socks filled with coffee... what have you tried?

Cigarette smoke leaves an oily residue, so make sure anything you are using will cut that.
That's why the vinegar suggestion can work.
Denatured alcohol can be a good option (but pretest as that can remove other stuff).
Probably mold smells in there too, so when you clean the case, put it out in full sun to dry and zap other odors.
Newspapers and baking soda with the item bagged in plastic can help sometimes.
