I got the speaker reconed and put the grounded cord on, I soft started it with a variac and it sounds ----- loud , clean and loud.
They really are voiced to be warm but not the least bit fuzzy, straight in it doesn't break up but it comes alive with a few pedals
in front. I have to troubleshoot the tremolo but the rest of the circuit is really quiet.

Sounds about right to me! But yeah, some reverb should help round things out a bit.

How's the trem sounding?

The trem is not responding , could be something simple hopefully, it’s soldered in
directly and I didn’t check before I buttoned it back up .

I ended up jamming with my son on his eurorack, I brought my pedalboard in and
it really blossoms with some reverb/ delay and a touch of fuzz.
