NAD: What do you reckon it is?...SOLVED: SF Pro Reverb
I haven't got in on this little game yet as I tend to get over-excited with new gear purchases and spill quite quickly... so here goes.
I have a new amp, hopefully, arriving into the fold tomorrow. It's not an AC30 as I was previously asking about (that's still on the 'hunt' list, although I have a lead on a good one that might pan out). I've owned a couple of these before over the years but have been without for quite some time.
Clues I'll give to begin with is that it's got more than one speaker, and it is (IMHO) woefully underappreciated amongst it's brethren.

Very close, but no cigar. You're on the right path though.
NB: I would love a nice Vibrolux, or Tremolux, but they aren't particularly common over here in the UK. 10s are my speaker size of choice too.

I'm building a tremolux right now. 10s are my favorite. especially a pair.johnnysomersett wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 3:00 pm

My back, and ears, would never forgive me
Lovely! I'm holding out for a mid-60s one at the moment but I'd definitely happily settle for a Silverface if the BF get too wild in price.
I still have yet to try one in real life so I'm avoiding them for now.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
That didn't take long at all, not that I'm wholly surprised:
Found this one an hour away. It's a 75 or 76. Master volume but pre-ultralinear so still only 45w. We had one of these as a house amp at a venue I worked in circa '98/99 and it never died. Was a workable volume and sat well in a mix. I'd had a couple but moved them on in favour of big British valve heads and cabs but now I'm in a more sedate band - playing kinda power-pop/jangly punk - I remembered one of these would probably work rather well. The HRD I have is good but I think I'm already going to have to repair it (it's one of the 1st gen USA ones and on its original caps. Probably cooked those resistors by now too). I'll keep that as a backup. 45w and a master volume means I can use it for almost any gig and it'll be loud enough to keep up with the drummer at rehearsals.
The guy loaded it with Warehouse G12C/S speakers as the originals need a recone. I'm not that fussed as it sounds great regardless. Got it for the right price AND he drove here to drop it off for me! All I had to do was carry it inside, test it and pay him. Win win. What with the new reissues getting loads of attention I thought it wise to jump on these before people realised you can get an OG handwired vintage one for half the price.

Great Amp! Congrats! Hopefully you got the original Speakers too… You can have them re-coned & re- install them. Bring it back to original spec should you want that sound too…

Yes, they're in a box. I had a look and only one appears to be borked. At some point I'll get those done

Really nice amp, I just traded one on and it was shockingly loud. It was somewhat redundant since I have a Vibrolux inspired amp with 2- 10’s that I’m really stuck on. Enjoy!
