The EH Mig-50 arrived yesterday Tuesday the 19th after approximately two weeks away. The amp failure could not be located
(See attached email from EH below ) they ended up replacing the circuitboard rather than chasing the problem. Hopefully this was an isolated problem and I will withhold any judgments until owning this amp for sometime.
I finished repairing your amp today. After the audio testers have finished their tests, it will ship back out to you.
I have no idea what was initially wrong with it but the transformers were totally fine. I ended up just replacing the circuit board altogether.
On the new board I implemented some modifications that we are bringing out in the next revision of the MIG-50. These revisions will have no negative impact on tone but will increase performance and reliability.

It's a little thing but it's nice to see they made sure it's up to current spec. I'm sure they had a bunch of old boards laying around and could have chucked one of them in.
Seems to be a pretty decent response.
