I'm running stereo into a heavily modded Fender Blues Junior & 1 1-15 cab and a black panel Deluxe Reverb reissue. I play ambient/psych/bedroom/dream pop and to make the most of the stereo setup, I'm stacking reverb/delay pedals, Walrus Audio D1 & R1 into a EQD Dispatch Master to the Deluxe Reverb Left and into a OBNE Dark Star to Blues Jr, Right. The Blues JR is a little darker voiced and to emphasize that, Im using the OBNE Dark Star in Pitch Mode, with the controls at 11:00 & 1:00 to give it a warbly modulated reverb. it sounds dark and swampy, while the other channel is bright and sparkly. I also offset the delays to so that the note attack isn't synchronous, giving the impression of multiple guitars.

ive been using dual amps for many years
radial twin bones into a vox pathfinder and a peavey studio pro 50
sometimes i use two pathfinders. one is a head into a 1x12 cab and the other stock
i spread em out and put one in the center by the drums/ behind the singer
the louder amp is clean and the pathfinder is slightly dirty

I've done a few gigs with 2 Champs in stereo, usually separated with a Fulltone ST2 and mic'd up separately. I'd love to try it again with a stereo chorus pedal as I've enjoyed that the most of the stereo effects I have at home. I also use the pair of Champs at home just for messing around with some stereo gear.

Got my live rig finally sorted recently. '73 Pro Reverb set to the classic Fender trebly cleans and a Supersonic 22 set to warm, bassy tones. I also run a Walrus Audio ACS1 for in-ear monitoring.

If you're like me in that you love stereo but don't always have the stage room for multiple cabs without vertical stacking, I highly recommend something like this.

This one's in a 410 so I can run it mono, or as pair of side-by-side 210s in the same cab.

I’ve got a couple like that.. To my ears it sounds like 2 speakers playing the same thing. Sounds like Mono with 2 speakers.. There’s no dimension…

The Keeley adds Stereo dimension.. Not just 2 speakers sounding mono….

I thought about getting one of the JC-40s to run in stereo with my matchless. But, if I like stereo, I would like the option to take it by itself and use the stereo that way as well to scale down how much I bring

That is a perfect setup :-* :-* The Dark Star is SO good with stereo/dual mono.

The speakers themselves are different (creambacks and golds), and the L/R inputs are coming through a Boss DC-3 for dimension. Sounds great to my ears.

I was underwhelmed by it on its own, I loathe shimmer reverb and the delay verb was not entirely different from my dispatch master, but I read a suggestion about putting the dials at 11 and 1:00 in the pitch shift mode for a modulated reverb and it’s given the left channel a unique voice that really enhances the stereo spread.

That changes everything.. That should add some good dimension.. Glad it works for you!

Same reason I use a Fender Amp & a Vox Amp… 2 totally different Sounds.. Then split them thru the Keeley 30ms Double Tracker Pedal in different Stereo FX and or with Abbey Mode ADT.. Sounds great!

I haven't played with it a TON, but I agree that it does seem to be much better with other things, like a stereo/dual mono amp setup. I can't remember what mode I used so far, but I had it in a wet-dry setup, and it was glorious.

I do it at home for fun sometimes. My GFI Synesthesia has a Leslie effect that sounds insane through two Fender amps.
