Buy a Princeton and an AC10 and be done if you want small. If you want slightly bigger, go 15 and DRRi.

On another note, I’ve found Marshall cleans on some demos I’ve watched to have a sparkle that seems to sit between a fender and a vox. Because I’m not we’ll veered on Marshall’s I couldn’t tell you what amps they were.

The idea is to have a small 20-30 Watt Combo Tube Amp
Neither of which are burdened with the weight of output transformers like a Combo Tube Amp.

If the goalposts have shifted that far and it's essentially open to anything, the answer is easy: buy a Kemper, load the desired amp profiles and pair it with their lightweight speaker cabinet.
It think this is the main issue, which has been pointed out several times before, but which the OP seems determined to dance around.

If you want vacuum tube technology there's no way you'll get what you're describing in a small, light-weight form. "Thinking outside the box" means you have to give up on vacuum tubes (instead opt for digital modeling, nanotube technology, whatever else they've come up with by now). You can't have it both ways. I'm no amp tech, but even I know that you're going to need two transformers for what you want (like you see in that 22 kilos H&K amp), or perhaps at best one very large transformer(?). Either way, you can forget about light-weight, small and cheap, as transformers are easily the most expensive, heavy and expensive components in a tube amp. Besides the output transformer(s), all those tubes will also require quite a bit of space, if only for ventilation, because this thing is going to run quite hot.

If you do insist on vacuum tubes, what you end up with will have several disadvantages to simply using two separate amps:
- It'll probably weigh a bit less than both amps together, but you'll have to carry it in one go, so you end up lugging around a far heavier amp.
- You won't be able to separate the amps; you can't just leave one at home.
- You can't space the amps out and place them in different positions, or at different angles (one of the joys of playing through two amps).
- It'll most likely cost the same or more (if you want decent building quality).

does not have a blend control

I already have & use a 65 PRRI, AC10, 65 DRRI & AC15… Just wanted something easier…

Disagreeing that something is impossible is not being rude..

You’re right it’s not called a Blend control.. My apologies. Yet, In this Mesa Blue Angel YouTube video the guy uses Simul-lync & is playing 6V6’s & EL84’s simultaneously….. about midway thru video..

Here you go. It’s in a box, not outside a box. You will need a preamp and a speaker cabinet to go with.

http://victor-custom.com/en/power-stat ... 20e-sold/

Victor Power Station Deluxe - 12AX7 tube: switches: VINTAGE/MODERN, FAT/NORMAL.

power tubes: switches: TRIODE/PENTODE&TETRODE;

OUTPUT TYPE SWITCH: EL84 single ended(focused and thin detailed sound)/ EL84+6V6 PULL-PUSH (fat and wide sound)/ 6V6 single ended(focused and thin detailed sound)

knobs: VOLUME, DEPTH, PRESENCE

TUBES: 12AX7, EL84, 6V6 OUTPUT POWER: 4W EL84 OR 6V6 SINGLE ENDED, 7W Pull Push EL84+6V6.

speaker; 8 & 16 Ohm

Sounds like the old Seymour Duncan Convertible, but for power amp instead of preamp section. Does not have a blend knob, but does combine both A + B.

Hopefully you don’t have anything against Russians. I think he’s Russian?

both. incidentally, most recently Bobs 1 and 2 both used modeling amps, the ultimate from choice.

What this has to do with this Thread is????

Russians? What does that have to do with anything?????

I guess venturing beyond modding Squiers to be Fenders & spending ridiculous amounts of time & money to do it is a hard reach……

Nah… I’m pretty much done with this Thread on this Forum… who needs all the negative, the sky is falling, it’s impossible, etc.

Especially when these kinds of Amps already exist…… And are getting closer & closer to doing the so called impossible….

Thanks though..

The venn diagram of your responses in this thread and anti-vaxxers?

Both are about a refusal to accept reality and the facts that are handed to you by more informed people.

EL84 and 6V6?

This works, especially when you jumper them together:
