I'd say no deal at that price. I got mine in Europe for around $700, and I've seen them go on eBay (although that might involve shipping, which is a scary thought with a monster this large) for around that as well. They usually go for less because of the shipping (lots of local pick-ups). Would you want to keep it as-is or do a cabinet rehousing? If the latter you could always wait for a tatty one to come online. I'd hate to buy a mint condition one and then have to tear it apart.
