Nice! The Fender demo of the Edge Deluxe sounds amazing. I'm looking at the similiar yet different '57 Custom Deluxe - it sounds tempting.

Re: NAD - Fender '62 Princeton Chris Stapleton Edition
Bought one last week. I really it's overdriven sound. Never have a amp like that (never had a Tweed, never had a BrownFace). Still tweaking it to find my sound, but it's a simple amp.
The only thing that I would like to change is it's volume. It's loud!!! Louder than a PRRI. I didnt buy it to play with my band. Cannot play it above 2 in my appartment. I would probably try to put a less efficient speaker, or maybe changing the 12" for a 10".

Congrats! I usually play mine around 3 at home (house) and it's not too bad. Do you have the stock Eminence CS speaker? If you swapped it down to a 10" speaker, would you need a 10" baffle as well?
Would an EQ pedal be helpful? I don't often use my Boss Equalizer GE-7 but it's a nice to have when needed.
Brownface amps are my fave.

Yes, I have the stock Eminence speaker. I read somewhere it's a 101db speaker. I could put a Jensen, that is around 92db. I am alsor waiting advice from Weber for their Signature series.Surfysonic wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 7:58 amCongrats! I usually play mine around 3 at home (house) and it's not too bad. Brownface amps are my fave. I've probably mentioned it somewhere on OSG, but this amp sounds exactly like my (now sold) '64 Fender Princeton (tuxedo).
I have found a Baffle converter if I decide to go 10" : https://www.tubeampdoctor.com/en/baffle ... r-12-to-10
I dont like using a EQ in front of a amp to tame the volume. It feel like turning the guitar volume... A thing I nearly always do when I am playing at home.
