Post by mynameisjonas » Fri Jan 26, 2007 5:16 am

has anyone ever tried one of these?

they look kinda funny but it seems like they are very versatile. from bell-like twang to ripped-speaker fuzz.
info and demo videos by dweezil zappa here.

I saw the ads when they came out....

hmmm...I dunno...I think I'm a bit superficial when it comes to how gear looks...and this one looks like a toy, so I never paid much attention.

it probably sounds pretty good...if it came in a normal (adult) version, then I'd probably consider it :)

I don't like that genre of controls as resonance, pre eq, post 5 bands eq and so on..it looks cool however

I came across this amp today, very simple controls. Volume and tone, that's  it.

The Peavy does have that toy/ plastic look to it.

I saw one in a local shop and thought it was the coolest thing in the world...

Confronted the salesdude about it. He said it sounded like crap, and didn't want me to try it, and didn't want to lower the price so I forgot about it right there, and forgot about the shop too  ;D

It's not about the gear! It's about you, your hands, your imagination, your feelings.
