Those are nice, high quality Cliff switched jacks like so:




I find open frame Switchcraft style jacks to be dumb and inconvenient, but i'll put those on instead.

The power switch? I said I didnt include it. Its on every other layout, you can figure it out from there.

And for the mid, just replace the 6.8K on the back of the volume pot with a pot wired as a variable resistor to ground. 25K is normal.

Already bought a 10k log pot for mid. ( as super/twin reverb)

Got my build up and running and it sounds like a damn good blackface, but...

LOUD HUM!!

The layout is somewhat unorthodox.
I used a TM Deluxe Reverb cab/chassis and the central position of the speaker meant I had to place the transformers closer than usual.

Also wondering if proximity of tubes could be a factor.

Im going to shift the preamp tubes further down the chassis.
This will make leads much shorter to tube sockets and get them further from 6l6s.

Also.. power tubes?
Wondering if to close to choke/speaker.
