Custom Blonde Fender Bassman 20 Head

I got this from redchapterjubilee and I really dig it. It was converted from the normal combo to a small blonde head. Super cute looking on a normal size head. It has really responsive controls. I like that you get a three band EQ with it. That is pretty much all I really need most of the time. I don't often use tremolo or reverb so it is simple and seems well made. I tried it though Vox Alnico Blue speakers and it was pretty bright. I am sure that is the speakers though because it makes everything bright. I need to try it through some V30's or something.

I've wanted a Bassman 20 for a while but they are seemingly non-existent in the UK. I don't think they have much in common specifically with the other Bassmans but obviously has a lot of standard Fender amp DNA. I have heard they are good for guitar though.

What’s the headroom like on it?

It actually breaks up pretty early if you are using humbuckers. You don't have to go deaf which is nice.

Pull the mids down and it will give you more headroom with humbuckers.
