Hello everyone!
Saw lots of topics about 'iconic amps for jazzmaster/jag/tele and others', but none for Mustang
What amps in your opinion is the most iconic/best sound for Mustang? What's for clean and for dist sound?
Should it be Fender ecosystem or not?
Let's discuss!
I think, for clean sould '65 delux reverb is the best way to go

I think because a mustang has 250k pots, and isn’t nearly as bright as a Jazz/Jag, they aren’t nearly as picky.

Re: Best amps for Mustang guitars
so i'm gonna bring up one of my favorite fender mustang players ever here. tom fowler from million dead and he's running a pair of orange amps. keep watching to the second song if you wanna see someone absolutely shred on a mustang.
my bandmate now has *counts* 6 mustangs and they've always said they feel/sound like tubby strats so you have to kinda take that into account. they use a hotrod deluxe and a fender vaporizer but all their mustangs also have really high output pickups which really changes things.
