I've had a couple of these but don't remember if you can jumper at all (I don't think I ever tried).

My favourite of this era are the Century Bass 200 heads. They have the best 'clang' for bass you'll ever hear. I had one twinned with a Traynor TS-50B and it was all I ever dreamed off for bass.

Somehow, I have neither still :fp:
Did an old man in a pub offer to you a trade in exchange for a battered old red guitar he had hidden under his jacket?

(I presume this is how you find 75% of your guitars)
Hah! Cheeky bugger

Actually I bought that one from a venue owner that thought it was dead/dying. It needed a new fuse.

Cost me a tenner :D
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

The old Mr Shake trick, I see.

I need to get out & about more. Long time since I’ve gotten a cool deal on something random that I wasn’t thinking about but couldn’t say no to.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

And here it is:

I could test it very briefly with my Laney combo as an improvised cab and wow! This thing sounds so huge and fat and well balanced! Spring reverb is bright, but very nice. Tremolo is totally psychedelic. Distortion is a rich warm overdrive. The EQ is centered around all the right bands. I can't wait to hook up the big speakers and turn it up. This might be my new favourite amp.

"Be careful what you wish for," said the tiny, distant voice from behind a pile of dusty, inexpensive amplifiers.

That Musician is gorgeous! Long wanted one to get my Cure jones out. Play it loud and proud and maybe a little mopey!

Oh wow I was the OP of this thread, actually :D

I never got the Peavey, i think. But I do own the EARTH SOUND RESEARCH ripoff of it. It has been partially chopped up to fit in an old stereo system speaker box. I sold the late 60s greenback that was in there and still have the amp without a shell. Somewhere.

Will try to find it and dig it up again. I remember the fuzz was PURE EVIL

Oh here's an old pic
