NAD: Roland JC-22
I’ve been curious about these little JC-22s for a while and picked one up a few weeks ago. Sounds really great. The reverb is digital, and a shortish hall type, I’d say, but doesn’t have any kind of digital ugliness that I can detect. The chorus is excellent too – nice and airy and lush. Has two 6.5” speakers.
I’m all about the Fendery cleans – my other amp is a Princeton – and this is kind of in the ballpark but with it’s own thing going on. Anyone else using one of these?

Pretty sweet… and now that I’m old, it’s the only Roland amp I can imagine wanting. My wife bought me a little juniper bonsai for my birthday, I can imagine it sitting next to this amp.

amazing! years ago i downsized from a 120 to a 90 for some ambient gigs.
i still have both, but i'd love to check out that li'l guy and perch him on top of the others!

It’s a great little amp. I’m super happy with it! And I’m moving house soon so I’ll get to play it a lot more.

i've had one for a few years now. it's a fun little amp, super clean as you'd expect, a stout build and surprisingly loud. it would win on style points alone, even if it didn't sound good

I've been playing mine for about a year now and I love it. Beautiful cleans, quality digital reverb and chorus (obviously) with the only feature missing from the larger versions is the famously bad distortion that nobody ever used. On a good day you might find a used/open box model for ~$350. Very worth it.
And zero hiss!

I've wanted this version one ever since I first saw it, but I just don't need another amp

It has stereo 1/4" Line-Out, but I don't think it has XLR out.

These are great amps! I had one for awhile before I moved up to the JC-40.

Anyone having success using overdrive pedals with theirs? I'd like to dirty things up occasionally. Maybe something that's a kind of amp sim? Tech21 Blonde or, on the cheaper side, Joyo American Sound or AC Tone?

Cute amp, I’m kinda tempted to get a Jazz Chorus eventually

I've used a strymon deco+blues driver and it sounds pretty good to me. I've also used a RAT and that sounded pretty good, too.tequila_in_teacups wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 5:02 pmAnyone having success using overdrive pedals with theirs?
