Hi all,
Sorry for the bump but I'm looking for the same and the above seller appears to be inactive: anyone got a source for this?

Just a note, if you get the straight marr styled one, you will need to dremel or modify the body to get the switch to fit. The angled one should allow a switch to fit with no mods.

You can almost just fit it in if you shave off the metal around the switch mount. A tiny bit of paint would need to be scraped off. Still, the Marr mod is a real pain in the ass. Few figure out the wiring and special grounding needed with the pickups right away.indiandysummer wrote:Just a note, if you get the straight marr styled one, you will need to dremel or modify the body to get the switch to fit. The Cobain 3 way switch plate is so much easier to install and it retains the stock bass cut.

Yeah, I built a Marr style jag from scratch and it worked right away. I did already know I had to mod the pickups to ground the claw independently on each. I also bought a Marr body so the switch would fit (and Oly white is cool enough for me). It's worth it though. I love the Marr switching configuration. So useful. I want to make a Marr inspired Jazzmaster now.arkivel wrote:You can almost just fit it in if you shave off the metal around the switch mount. A tiny bit of paint would need to be scraped off. If you have the Marr upper plate for "rhythm" section, you still maintain the stock bass cut. But I guess that's not required. The main advantage to a Marr 4 way switch is getting the series option, where you don't get that with the cobain 3 way switch.

I though the whole point of the Cobain configuration was that the pickup toggle remained a 3 way, but the adjacent slider switched between series and parallel? Is that incorrect?indiandysummer wrote:Yeah, I built a Marr style jag from scratch and it worked right away. I did already know I had to mod the pickups to ground the claw independently on each. I mean, you can wire the switch either way. I think the "cobain" config is a strangle switch. No reason it can't be a series parallel switch though!
