Lightning Rod and Kool and the Gang - Hustler's Convention This really is more spoken word than a song, but fun nevertheless!

That's pretty much what I had in mind, not the sing talkers like Lou (just retire for fuckssake) Reed but Talk Talkers (errr) if you know what I mean. The beginning of Anthrax (gang of four) is easily one of my favorite song moments.
And this is probably way to obvious, but it's one of my favorite SY songs: In The Kingdom #19 (props to whoever chose to mash it up with this video too).
There are plenty of songs that are spoken word, or have spoken word parts, that are effective.
