I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I am currently playing through...

Stereoscope Harmonic Overdriver > Boss DD20

Yep, it's pretty impressive.  I am on the lookout for a nice reverb pedal for shoegazery washes, any recommendations?

Yamaha SPX-90? it did ok for Kevin Shields :D

I'm thinking about getting the Boss RV-5 digital reverb for the shoegazey-wash stuff - the gated reverb on it sounds great with some distortion after it.

I tried the new Marshall reverb pedal .. it's got reverse reverb on it among other things .. it didn't cut it though.

The Boss RV-5 is really cool. I'm a big fan of the "modulate" setting; perfect for shoegaze. The spring reverb emulation is also quite good as well. I'm putting the RV-5 on my x-mas list I think. The RV-3 is super cool as well. It has reverb, delay and reverb+delay patches. I used one for years with great results till it got stolen. My curiosity was also stoked by this over at pedalgeek...

I hated the RV-5.  Sold it.  I like the EH Holy Grail better, but when it comes down to it, I like the spring reverb tank in my Marshall the best.  Oh, and the Alesis NanoVerb is from outer space.  Seriously, I think that they developed it to emulate the sound of whirring engines in a space station satellite thing.

I like the Holy Grail too. I'd really like to try the Holiest Grail as well. I've got a friend with a Nanoverb, I'll have to check it out.

mine is a bit complex: i split the signal with an A/B volume-panner switch.

Side A: Roland BeeBaa-ProCo Rat-Vox Wah-Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe-EH Deluxe Memoryman-Yamaha SPX 900
Side B: Vox Wah-Coloursound ToneBender-A/DA Flanger-Lovetone RingStinger (loop off the RS-A/DA Final Phase-70s EH Big Muff) -Roland DEP-5 (stage) or Roland RE-301 (studio)

the signal goes into a tweed Bassman and a Vox AC30. There are expression pedals for the Voodoo Vibe and RingStinger. I use a Ground Control Midi controller for switching and looping so i don't have to tap dance too much and I also use an E-Bow and glass slide quite often.

"what planet are you from?"

under the "x" in "texas" i guess its the mix of southern baptist, tequila, psychedelics and big skies that brings out the weirdness in Austin.

for some reason i always get nicknamed "spaceman" by bandmates...

Ooh! I'vejust posted a question elsewhere about the Reel Echo - how is it? I'm looking at picking one up to fill my delay/weirdness needs.

[ edit: this question answered elsewhere - cheers Mezcalhead! ]

Current, blue and white stripe tesco value setup is:

MIJ Tokai SG w. Dream 90s (say no to humbuckers) > SoundCity OD > Dano French Toast > Little Big Muff RI > Dano Tuna Melt > Dano Spring King > Laney LC15 w. Jensen speaker.

Looking to add a Reel Echo and a Zoom UltraFuzz in the near(ish) future. Then everything else. Except chorus.

No Pics as of right now, but my chain is as follows - the wah pedal comes and goes depending on my mood or what I'm playing:

Boss DS-1 Distortion
Boss BD-2 Blues Driver
Boss CE-3 Chorus
(Dunlop Cry Baby Wah)
DOD FX75-C Flanger
Boss RV-2 Reverb
Boss DD-5 Delay

I tend to play either garage punk tye stuff or the more blissed out shoegazer sort of thing.  Sometimes the two ends meet head on when I'm playing things in the vein of Spacemen 3's "Revolution" (GOD I love that song!).  I've got another setup in my home office that's just an old Sano tube combo with a fucked up "Jimi Hendrix" Fuzz Face that someone gave me - I named it "Mr. Fuzz".  Super-scuzzy.  I've also found that if I max the distortion on the DS-1 and BD-2 and turn them both on, I get a wonderful feedback at SUPER LOW volumes (like, home stereo at night levels).  That BD-2 was the best $10 I think I ever spent.

I'll send some photos as soon as I can get them.

I'll post some pics of my current rig soon. Here's a text setup for now ...

Guitar--> Korg DT-10 Tuner--> Guyatone WR-3 Wah Rocker--> MXR Dynacomp Reissue--> Boss SD-1 (Tone-Jam modded)--> Line 6 Verbzilla (set on the "Octo" patch)--> Line 6 DL-4 Delay--> Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man--> Amp

My pedalboard is an NYC Pedalboards "Pedalhead" w/ an 18" riser.

I've been pretty well settled on my setup, so I haven't changed much over the last couple months. Right now, this is what I am using:

Image

The little round footswitch on the right board is for my RE-201, which I have been using a good bit right now. The Moog EP-1 expression pedal is hooked up with the DL-4 to fade loops in and out. I also made all my presets to where I can get some neat variations doing that with them too. I haven't really been using it for anything other than looping though.
