I usually hate sparkle finishes, but for some reason I love this one!!!    :?

I like it, but it kinda reminds me of television static, in a good but weird way.

Maybe. It's just got that whole rainbow thing going on when under certain lights that a lot of guitars from the eighties that wind up in pawn shops have. I wouldn't choose it, but it's got something about it that I like.

That's a 90s-era Holoflake finish.  The "flakes" are actually micro-thin dots of highly prismatic film instead of the traditional metalflake foil.  I've got a Les Paul finished in holoflake that is just unreal under lights, but like that JM, looks a lot more subdued in standard room lighting.

Nice!  I like it.

Sorry. This one just re-affirms my dislike of sparkle finishes. Could be a good guitar though. 1959 on the receipt & a tasty pickguard.
