Anyone know the depth of the route/pocket for the Tremelo tail piece?

I have a blueprint that shows it as 3/8" (with a body thickness of 1 5/8"). Does that sound right?

The body thickness may be right but the tremelo depth is got to be way more than 3/8 deep

without taking measurements, I'd guess it's the same depth at the routes under the control plates.  That was my guide when I installed a vibrato on my Jag Bari.

On that same blueprint that I have, the depth of the control panels is 1 3/8". That probably means that the 3/8" measurement I wrote earlier was just reflecting a typo. That's pretty deep on a 1 5/8" thick body, though. Perhaps someone has their tremolo off for a refinish and they can measure it for you.

My Japanese JM just measured out around 35mm, Quandar has a tremolo route tracing that says it's 34mm.  I routed my Jag Baritone to 31 or 32mm if I remember correctly.
