delaney bramlet sold it in the past 3 or 4 maybe 5 years. he had routed it for a hambucker in the mid 70s and restored it back before he put it up for auction
relaxing alternative to doing actual work ...

I thought so. That guy modded a famous guitar? If he likes offsets, he's not allowed here.sookwinder wrote: delaney bramlet sold it in the past 3 or 4 maybe 5 years. he had routed it for a hambucker in the mid 70s and restored it back before he put it up for auction
Maybe I'll go find Hendrix's guitar and put a floyd rose on it.

...I believe the story goes, Bramblett had toyed with selling it for a while but Harrison didn't really want him to. Finally he went through with an auction shortly after Harrison passed at the behest of Harrison's family...the guitar was put up for sale and a small group of investors led by Ed Begley Jr. purchased the guitar and returned it to Harrison's widow which is where it now resides.
...I can't for the life of me remember where I read that, but I know I picked that up somewhere because I came out of it going, "Ed Beagley is a rightous dude"...
