Warmoth Gallery offsets

Post by djetz » Fri Mar 23, 2007 1:45 am

http://www.warmoth.com/gallery/gallery. ... miscguitar

I was having a look thru the Warmoth site, thinking about what I could do if I were rich, and I discovered that there are quite a few offsets on the "misc" gallery of one off custom guitars.

Some of them are "authentic" looking Fender-likes, some of them are weirdo custom designs.

http://www.warmoth.com/gallery/guitar/m ... n_long.htm is one I kind of like.

Of course, there are plenty of unbelievably tasteless designs to laff at, too.

When are people gonna learn that the strat trem is NOT an improvement over the Floating Jazzmaster bridge!?!

I KNOW!

There's so many non-Fender and homemade creations with a great offset offset body and that stupid Strat trem. I don't get it.

Edit:  Not speaking strictly about the Warmoth site... but in general. They often refer to them as a Jaguar or JM-type guitar,  but big deal... it's a flippin' Jagmaster!
Q. Are we not men?

It's not about the gear! It's about you, your hands, your imagination, your feelings.

I quite like this one

Although I agree that people using strat tremolos on a JM/JAG body is IMO more of a Jagmaster

Why do they cut the headstocks off the pictures? is it because they have Fender Decals or something

Everytime I see that one, I wonder if that guy was spying on me on Project Guitar.com, because I was working on a guitar very close to that one by design around the time his creation was first posted, except mine was HSH and not just HH, and had a Kahler, and was Cayman Green Metallic with white pearloid.

As for Meedly Meedly Meeeee......no need for Hums and a Floyd to do that, I use this, between clean and distorted it's hard to believe it's the same guitar.
