A few old friends....
just found some pics on my hard drive, so I thought I'd share....
first, my 70s Sunburst Mustang:
The Mustang was sold alongside my 80s MIJ White Fender Jaguar (can't find a pic), so I could buy this 1967 (neck stamp 13OCT66B) Candy Apple Red Jazzmaster.....it was a refin, by the way:
thie above guitar was stolen from my flat...it was missing for months...in the meantime, I bought a 1964 Jazzmaster, that I had refinned in Firemist Gold
eventually, the stolen '67 was returned to me...I then sent it in for a Black refin....
they were both really nice guitars...they are both now sold, though
feel free to add pics of offsets you have owned in the past....

Re: A few old friends....
I like the look of that Mustang, and of course those JM's look incredible.. I'm was so happy for you when you got the '67 back, I remember how crushed you were when it was stolen. It seems it's all worked out for the best.. not only for you now having your dream '61 but Jon gets that beautiful '64 and your singer the '67
Jazzmaster hat trick!
my first vintage Jazzmaster.. starting with a pic I took a couple weeks after I brought it home from Toronto, the refinishing process a few months later, and the pics I used in it's ebay listing when I had to sell it a year later.

Is that belt you're wearing from American Eagle? I have the same one.

I've sold more than a few, but here are the only photos I could easily find:
'61 Jazzmaster
September '62 round laminate board:
The '94 limited edition blonde with gold hardware Jaguar that I just sold a couple weeks ago:
'71 competition Mustang which was recently sold to Infliktor:

...really - you can post as many pictures as you want of that firemist one - I am in serious love with that one. Who did you sell it to?zhivago wrote:

wow, this one looks almost exactly like my black one (refinished CIJ with pre cbs tort guard)i love sharin foo wrote:
the color of the guard is spot on, and the wear on the finish is very similar too.
