Sure thing guys. I've never felt too comfortable with them, and definitely not with a Gibson headstock in one, so I don't know much about them. I had no idea this one was $60 new from MF. Yikes. I like the deal on yours better mewithoutus.

Thanks for the kind words Felix.  :)

The Ritter gig bags are great and fit a JM. I have a super padded bass gig bag and it's very nice.

Times change.  Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky?  Now it grows hair!  We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

I use some kind of Peavey double gig bag. It fits two jazzmasters in separate compartments; great to bring two guitars to a local gig. However, I can't find it on Peavey's site anymore, so I guess it's been discontinued, making this point moot.

Kaces KLS-10 gig bag fits Jazzmasters perfectly, even with the trem arm on.

If you're ever looking for a hard case, I'd say Hiscox would be a safe bet. They do one specifically for Jaguars and Jazzmasters. It's heavy, but heavy duty too. It's supposed to be able to withstand a full grown man jumping on it.
Don't you know that's sinful boy?

mynameisjonas wrote: i have two "rockbags" by warwick, and they work pretty well. you have to stretch it a bit to get it over the headstock, but it´s not too tight of a fit.
also there is rockcase by warwick, and they have a model special for jazzmaster.

I own one deluxe and it is cheap (compared to fender) and flawless :)

If you want a gigbag I would recommend a fender tweed gigbag (jazzmaster fits perfectly)
