I have a '67 service manual, and quite a bit of FMI stuff (parts lists, guitar/amp schematics, crazy cool exploded drawings -Duo-Sonic, Mustang, VI, XII-, some Rhodes stuff, etc.). If anyone is interested, I can start scanning. I've got 2 3 ring binders that are packed full.
Does Chuck Norris kick ass!  Hell yeah we're interested.  If you want to start scanning PM for details on where to send and I'll add stuff in as I get time.  The exploded drawings sound especially cool.  And if anyone has other catalogs (especially earlier) let us know.

Will do. I'll start with the most relevant bits and, as I go through it, try to catalog what all I have.

BTW...  we decided to move the Catalog and similar posts into the newly created Library section underneath Guitar Shop & Library. So look there.  Thanks!

Did anyone notice in the aforementioned 72 catalog scan, the strat page boasts "off set" contoured waist! :o
Also, I didn't realize they used the "ashtray" bridge covers that late!

It does definitely say that .. how weird and frightening.

(BTW I've thrown that image onto photobucket and edited your post to link to it rather than the image on this site .. just 'cos we're a bit careful about our bandwidth at the moment.)

Did you guys notice that there were hand written prices on the Strat, Fender Tele custom, deluxe and plain tele?
I wrote those down from a phone call I made to the place I ordered my strat from (Caruso's Music in New London Connecticut) and got the catalogue from.
Those were the 40% off list prices then, because that was what Caruso's was selling them for.
Imagine how inexpensive they were then!
I remember going across the street (Bank St in New London) from Caruso's to a pawn shop and saw a beautiful mint white Jaguar with case for 100 bucks.
I always regret not buying that too!

I sent also with the catalogue a pic of the Bass VI which you may have omitted from the posting Jay.
Maybe you may want to remove the cover page and put it in?

I have every page of the catalog in there and added everything you sent so far as I can tell.  If you can resend I'll add it in.

Funny-I have a bunch of old Fender catalogs (and a '66 Gibson cat) and they all have those pen notations about the prices!

You know, those arrows are pretty lame and ordinarily I would have just replaced them with something easier to see but I kinda rushed through it to get it online quickly.  I'll fix it.
