Saul Koll Makes another offset

He's made some custom hollow Jazzmasters for Lee Renaldo, and now he has this one up on his site:

Ugh! That's horrible. The star inlays look really tacky, the plain chrome plate looks weird and it has no tremolo.  Although, the finish is nice

I don't like the star inlays either, but overall I think it looks cool. I like the bare rhythm plate. It gives it some kind of 60s Italian flavor. A Bigsby  with the old style bow tie bridge would look great on it. Did he build this one in particular for someone?

I love the stars on my J-180 Everly acoustic, but everywhere else, it looks like a Ritchie Sambora ripoff.  Don't wanna be that.

I love it! Maybe not the stars, but everything else is great. Dots+binding might look cool with it, or just plain dots.

Stars or no stars, I'd rather play that than a Les Paul Special., more comfortable, and Jaguar scale.

i kinda like it actually. i think the sunburst headstock looks really cool, and the blank rhythm control plate looks OK too. is it polished aluminum? doesn´t look like chrome... i´m a big fan of aluminum.

but the stars are hideous...

So would this be Jaguar or Jazzmaster scale?

Looks...alright. But blank control plate = offputting.
Don't you know that's sinful boy?

I don't know the scale or anything about the build.  He has a "Custom" section on his website, and anytime he makes a Fender copy it seems to be considered part of his "Fullerton Vintage Series."  He's done a couple sweet Teles too, but the offsets are rare.

I like it. I like the soapbars and bet they sound creamy.
I want one.
I cant figure out why he left switches off the left chrome piece though.
I want switches there.

I want one now. I think when I have tons of money I'll make a Warmoth or USACG Jag with 2 P90s and a Tune-o-Matic/Stoptail thing. a Gibson/jag combination.
