I'm the opposite. I prefer silver PAF's on an SG rather than the p90's. I think the P90's get lost on the black pick guard. Having said that, they do work nicely with the smaller guard on this one.

I see that and I can just about hear the live renditions of "My Generation" being played on that.

Isle of Wight, 1970, that is.

Actually, at the Isle of Wight, Townsend used a red SG special with the full pickguard... http://www.thewho.org/sg.htm

They have never looked any better than that!

I have been on the fence about getting an SG for about ten years now. I have always wanted a non-reverse Firebird too, so rather than make a choice between the two, I have never gotten either  ;D
