yeah, I've considered all colors.  I'm not really into green although I do like the sherwood buickmaster.

The body is primed and sanded to 600 grit, ready for color.  The Daphne should be here tomorrow or Tuesday.

I'm likin' Daphne...and it's comin' up in the voting.  thanks for the help everyone.

paint is on.  It's Daphne and I'm lovin' it.

The color has more of an aqua greenish hue to it.  The camera captures more of the blue.

The color laid down nicely and the weather cooperated with no wind and humidity at 58%.

clearcoats to go on tomorrow and Friday...thanks to everyone who contributed to the thread and voted or offered suggestions, esp. kle for setting me straight!

...more pics to follow as the project progresses.

heh.
A laptop full of water, summertime, travel, and a family fatality kept me away from OSG of late. besides, in the summer i work on bikes instead of guitars!

this is a REALLY deep blue looking daphne. is it RR? i find their sonic and daphne to be quite 'rich'.... my guitar is their Sonic Blue, but i thought i had accidentally gotten Daphne!

:D It is reranch.  When I first sprayed the color on, it was richer than I expected with a slight aqua/green hue.  ...pretty cool, I was pleasantly surprised.
