Daphne Blue '59/'60 - paint is on, clear tomorrow

Post by painted wood » Sun Jul 27, 2008 9:43 am

I have two upcoming projects and I need to order the paint.  Which two do you like best?  I'm leaning toward Daphne and White Blonde, with Shoreline, Oly. White, and Seafoam  close behind in that order. thanks for the input.

I agree 100%.  One of them will be MK White Blonde on ash.  I'm gonna call guitarmill tomorrow and place my order.  :D EDIT: still planning on it.

I removed the oly white and white blonde voting options.  Now I need a little help making up my mind on the other one...daphne, shoreline, or seafoam.
thanks... 8)

ya know...I really do like that one.  The Daphne on gold guard does look badass doesn't it.

Better than Shoreline on Gold?  I suspect Daphne may be better. ;)

BTW, the guard is a real '58.

Gold/Gold ist too monotone for my taste. Gold/tort is a lot better :)

I'd say express your feelings and go Daphne!

I have a shoreline goldguard. (That i am almost certain isn't Shoreline gold but Inca Silver)
Metallics look great with goldguards.
Have you considered Sherwood Green Metallic?  :'( :-*

And all these blue-ish colour do looks fab on Jazzmaster and Jags :-*

...says the guy who recently just bought an LPB Jazzamster :D

Oh, no, it's quite long ago - i need to buy another guitar soon

your's is sweet.  I like metallics, and I agree.

I don't have a blue guitar, and something about the gold on daphne intrigues me.  I ordered the daphne blue paint, so right now that's going to be the color....still got a little time to think...I like the blue/gold contrast and think it looks cool.

I like pastel colours.
