NGD: Vintera JM Ice Blue
Pictured with the Gretsch 5422 and the current iteration of the pedalboard.
I honestly don't think I NEED to swap anything out on it. The pickups actually sound good enough. Not like omg amazing but not something I need to replace immediately.

Thanks. I managed to get the Bigsby on that one to do the Shields thing. There's a 76 Musicmaster in the bag behind the Gretsch and a Ric 330 in the case behind that. The Ric might have the hottest pickups of the lot.electric hamburger wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 3:44 pmIt's a beaut. That gretsch ain't looking too bad either. Indeed. They're not SUPER hot, but I look to The Jam and Fugazi more than The Beatles or Tom Petty so they work just fine.electric hamburger wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 3:50 pmDoes it have the hi-gains? It's gorgeous. The pau ferro fretboard goes well with the finish.

That's a Couch strap. I noticed it because I bought the exact same one here at a local record store like 5 years ago It's a very nice strap, but it's smooth on both sides, so you want to make sure you don't have a neck-heavy guitar.
Here's a similar one for sale:

Thanks for posting that link. I’ve been trying to think of a good strap idea for a Surf Green Jaguar and they seem to have some dandies.alexpigment wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 7:03 pmThat's a Couch strap. Re: NGD: Vintera JM Ice Blue
Lately it's been very shoegaze-y. I'm trying to push myself to play with more interesting chords and inversions, so I'm learning/figuring out some Ride stuff. I've been into an old Nick Drake open-C tuning (CGCFCE) that sounds really cool with the reverse delay/reverb going.

Very cool! What delay or reverb pedals do you use? I am in the market for both!peterherman wrote: ↑Sun Jul 05, 2020 11:34 amLately it's been very shoegaze-y. Re: NGD: Vintera JM Ice Blue
On that board presently, I've got an MXR M-300 reverb and an Old Blood Noise Endeavors Minim delay/reverb that can be just modulated verb, just delay, or both and is footswitchable to have the repeats/reflections running reverse. Off the board, I've got a Way Huge Echo Puss and an Akai Headrush v2. I'm very interested in the Zoom MS-70 CDR right now and have almost pulled the trigger on the OBNE Black Fountain oil can delay more times than I can count.DrPete wrote: ↑Sun Jul 05, 2020 11:39 amVery cool! Thanks I will check these all out! I had the MXR Carbon Copy but it didn’t really do it for me (though I’m new to delay and effects).
