The neck arrived today so I did my normal dye and stain treatment. It is looking pretty awesome!

Applied my decal. It is named after a NIN concert. Wife and I are both fans of older NIN. ;)

I am both sad and relieved to hear this news.
Same! I think I am pretty much at a stopping point too once my project Mustang is finished. Not sure if I'm done with amp yet though. Until I find an op amp muff for real cheap second hand, I am for sure done with pedals. Have been for a while. Can't wait to see how this build progresses.
I finally finish building a guitar, go to play it, and then remember, "oh yeah, that's right. I suck at playing... Why did I build another guitar again?"

MJT sent me a picture of the sealed body ready for the silverburst finish. It is taking a little longer than usual due to covid I am sure. :)

Nice looking piece of ash. I have been doing mostly ash because I red an article about how it is getting harder to find and source light ash for guitar bodies and eventually a different type of wood might be used in its place. Who knows how likely that is, but if I can go ash, I have been.

The neck's clear on the back is finished. I just need to bury the decal on the front. Once that is cured, I can get on to installing the nut and tuners.
