Fender Champion 20.
Does a great Princeton impersonation, and a not bad VoxAC. Plus a lot of other stuff. No effects switch though and the 40 may be too much for your needs.

Thanks everybody for your suggestions. :)
I pulled the trigger today on a Vox AC4C1-12. Hopefully I'll get it next week.
Did it ever come in? What do you think of it? It will sound better once you break the speaker in, or replace it. The Celestion VX12s (or whatever they are) speakers that often come with them sound pretty good, but there are other Celsestion and Weber speakers that sound better with them.

Edit: also consider getting some better tubes for it at some point. Om trying to remember what it has, seems like only one of an EL84 and (2) 12AX7s. If you want less distortion, you could use something like a 12AT7 in the first tube position (V1). Different tubes makes a big difference, just like the speaker. But you might enjoy running it stock for a while, too.

I actually forgot that you could get an AC4 combo with a 12 speaker. I have 2 AC4 TVs with 12” speakers, but they’re heads & cabs.

Excellent choice. After playing mostly Fender and Fender-derived amps (Mesas, Musicmans, etc.) for a long time, I've found myself quite besotted with the AC15 that I've picked up during quarantine to play at home. It's definitely different sounding than what I was used to, but once I spent some time with it I realized that I really valued its distinctive qualities. The chime and the mid-forward nature of the OD is really special, and once I started recording demos with I was quite pleased.

On this subject, anyone tried the Supro Blues King 8 yet? 1 Watt, 8" speaker, 12AU7 as a power tube, and comes with a quirky line out mode. Seems like it might be an interesting home recording option?

This is the first amp I've bought in nearly 15 years. So this was kind of a big event for me.
As for fitting my needs, it's great. I can record guitar while not worrying about bothering anyone and it's much easier to carry around than my twin reverb. :D
As for sounds it has quite a variety. To my ears, it sounds best with my Epiphone Sheraton which has P90s(my other guitars are all Fenders). I feel I still need some more time with it though. I would say I'm still more of a Fender guy. But I'm glad to finally owe a Vox Amp.

Excellent choice! I'm a big VOX guy so welcome to the team. I find that single coils and vox stuff don't always get along well. If you can add a little signal and eq a bit with either an OD or EQ you can kind of work on it. I think a lot of people who are used to fenders don't realize how treble-y those amps can be. It can be a little jarring to go to a british amp that's just going to be a lot darker straight in. But like I said there are ways to compensate for that if you like. Personally, I like a lot of mids so I just go P90/humbucker -> AC30. Done.

I Picked up a Vox Pathfinder 15R during quarantine for $50 locally in NYC on Craigslist. It’s seriously a great amp for that under $150 budget. I’m considering gigging it with my musicman if live shows ever happen again.

To me sounds like a tube amp, takes my pedal board great, decent tremolo and reverb, it can be loud or quiet and weighs under ten pounds.

If you have an opportunity to pick one up I highly suggest grabbing one.

I could see them raising value in time as well.
