Oooh I love these! In Mexico, I think I owned like 3 or 4 of them at once - if you daisy chain them (like Hendrix stacks) they can get mighty loud!
They're slowly starting to get a strong following now!

One of my friends used to have the non reverb version which sounded great, I was always a bit jealous of it. I had no idea there was a reverb version, maybe I was better off not knowing that ;D

100% honest. these amps are 100x better than they have any right to be.

Killer find Maggie! I've lost some stuff before, but I've never so lucky as to lose, and then find, a whole amp :D I also fully support a Vox/Marshall stack, as well as tiny Marshalls in general. I picked up an Origin 20 last year because I really wanted a small Marshall-voiced combo, and I love it. Small Marshalls for the win!!

It doesn't come from my Harry Potter room (the UK, actually), but it's the same amp model!

I'm probably not the best person to describe amps as so many of the classic sounds aren't things I've ever tried, but I love it. I wanted something with the Marshall sound, and it delivers. I've got the Origin 20C (combo), and I believe it's a 10" speaker. 20W with a 3-way wattage switch (hi= 20w, mid= 6w, low= +/-0.5w). One of my favorite controls is the tilt knob, which is basically a pot-version of the 4-way input jacks of classic Marshalls. Instead of screwing with multiple input jacks and bridging between two channels, the pot can be set somewhere between a "normal channel" sound and "high treble channel" sound, in addition to the 3-band EQ. Even the boost/drive (channel?) sounds pretty good.

Not to dis your amp, and I certainly didn't have time to dial it in to perfection, but compared to my little Reverb12, the Origin 20 at the store that I played yesterday, seemed kind of lifeless and oddly boxy.

It makes me feel pretty smart for a 20-something who bought the wee Marshall, but I was kind of weirded out by the floor model Origin.
